  • Everything Else

  • If you have both, no worries...Start with the toys/misc. then you can be next for clothing and shoes.

5. Inspection

Each Item will be inspected for quality control. Please refer to our Guidelines Page for more details.

Please inspect your items at home and do not bring items with the following details:

  • Holes

  • Tears

  • Stains, even small ones

  • Bad Smells

  • Hair, pet or other

  • Missing buttons, snaps, etc.

  • Missing parts (ex. puzzles have to have all their pcs.)

  • Electronics without batteries...the items has to be able to be turned on or we cannot accept

  • We reserve the right to reject any item that does not meet our guideline requirements or at our discretion.

  • Remain at the inspection tables until all your items are inspected and promptly remove items not accepted.

  • It's not personal...please understand that when an item is rejected it is not a personal thing...we all miss details that are a part of the guidelines at times.

The reason items are rejected:

  • to maintain a HIGH QUALITY reputation for the Recycle Kids Sale.

  • they do not sell

This saves those working the sale and you (during Pick-Up) the extra time it takes to sort those items, etc. Go with the flow and learn from each drop-off so that the next time there will be even less items rejected as you scrutinize them more at home when tagging.

6. Hang your hanging items on the racks

Once your items are checked for quality control YOU will take them and hang them on the racks in their gender, size and category.

Time is money! Your time, the time of our volunteers and the time of the shoppers!
