Tagging and Pricing
- All tags must be printed from our website using our tag template. You must make sure that the consignor number and price are bar coded. To enter information in on the tag template, key in your consignor number (double check that you have keyed the number correctly), tab, key in your initials and then key in the price. You can hand write in the description and size if you would like. An easier tip is to make a sheet of all $2.00, $3.00 ect. and then cut them out and put them in piles. That way you can just pick out the tag you would like to price the item at.
- Tags must be printed on cardstock paper only as regular paper tears and the tags fall off. This is available at any office supply store or at Wal-Mart.
- You will need to type in the consignor number and initials and then type in the price. You may hand write in the size and description.
- If you are bringing junior items mark your tag with a JR after the size.
- Make sure that you put the brand name of the item under the description part of the tag. Marking name-brand items on the tag is a selling point.
- Bedding-We do not accept crib bedding sets. We will accept crib/twin sheets, twin size bedding sets, blankets, and mattress pads.
- Any item that you do not want going half-price on Sunday put a red dot (not pink or blue etc.) next to the price. The item will stay in the sale, but will not go half-price.
- Do not use pencil to fill out your tags. Avoid using a red pen to fill out your tags. Use red for the dots only.
- Use safety pins only when attaching your tags. Straight pins will not be accepted. Use only safety pins that are larger than 1/4 inch.
- The tag must be safety pinned to the top right hand side of the garment if you are holding the garment straight out in front of you looking at it.
- If using a tagging gun, attach tag to garment label in collar area to prevent fabric damage.
- Tagging guns are available for purchase for $15.00 contact Becky. The price includes 5000 taggers.
- There is a $2.00 minimum price. Price in either $1.00 or $.50 increments. If you need to change a price on your tag, you must rewrite the tag. No cross-outs on tags as we will not know if you did it or someone else did. If you have a change, make a new tag.
- Use yourself as a pricing guideline. Ask yourself what the item is worth and what you would be willing to pay for it.
- You will receive 70% of the selling price of your items.
- Tags will not be returned.
