Volunteer workers have the opportunity to shop before anyone else at an Exclusive Pre-Sale. Beat the crowd and have the pick of the best bargains.

Our volunteer workers are the most important part of our sales. In addition to shopping early, volunteers working two or more 4 hour shifts will have their consignor fee waived. See details for volunteering and special cash drawings for the upcoming sales at the links to the right. You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer and shop early.

Volunteer Duties

Duties for the drop off shift will be inspecting clothing and equipment as it comes in.  Inspection of the clothing will be looking for stains, holes, missing buttons, working zippers, ect. Once inspected, clothing will be placed on the racks by sex and size. Toys will be inspected to ensure all parts are present, that batteries are working, and that the items are in clean working condition.

Duties during the sale days will be taking tags and hangers off clothing at the register and bagging items.  We will need people to be on the floor straightening items and helping customers. We will also need people in the toy and equipment hold area tagging and checking sold items.

Duties for the end of sale remaining merchandise sort include carefully sorting individual items back into consignor number order.

We also need husbands for the set up and tear down.  If you would like to volunteer him instead of yourself you will receive the same benefits.  He must be able to lift heavy objects.
