Recycled Kids is a quality children's consignment sale that is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. We also hold a home and toy sale in November for holiday shopping.
Our consignment sale gives you the opportunity to sell your gently used clothing (Sizes 0-16,and junior girls), toys, and equipment. Consignors will receive 70% of the selling price, without the garage sale hassle or a long wait to receive your check. We accept only top condition clothing, and have many brand name items at bargain prices. We are the largest and best-known sale in the area and attract thousands of consigners and customers. This is important if your goal is to sell your items. Our selection of items for sale allows customers one-stop shopping.
CONSIGNOR GUIDELINES
Our Consignor guidelines are established to support our business philosophy of offering both consignors and shoppers the best value for their money. They are always being improved based on lessons learned and suggestions from our customers, consignors and workers. If you are a new consignor please contact us if you have questions or do not understand any of the requirements. It is much easier than it sounds and we are glad to help.
PRODUCT SAFETY AND RECALLS
Everyone is concerned with keeping their children safe. We at Recycled Kids Sales do our best to stay informed and educated on safety news, recalls and government regulations relating to merchandise available at our sales. Please be sure you review our Equipment Specific Guidelines for detailed information on what we accept at our sale. Please see the links below for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission relating to child product safety and recalls. It is against the law to sell merchandise that has been recalled.
CRIB SAFETY
Beginning June 28, 2011, all cribs manufactured and sold (including resale) must comply with new and improved federal safety standards. The new rules, which apply to full-size and non full-size cribs, prohibit the manufacture or sale of traditional drop-side rail cribs, strengthen crib slats and mattress supports, improve the quality of hardware and require more rigorous testing. The details of the rule are available on CPSC’s web site. Although some cribs manufactured prior to this date may meet the new standards, we will only be accepting cribs manufactured on or after June 28th, 2011.
